I'm usually hyped until our offense goes for 8 yards passing and 27 yards rushing at the half against a mediocre team. Brings it back into perspective for me pretty quick

Miles is still the coach.

This helps me temper my expectations.

2003...2007...2011...2015?! well, it's the every four year theory of LSU in the BCS championship game. I'm buying in. We have quality talent and an outstanding coaching staff. Yes some ? Marks like QB, but I'm optimistic Harris has progressed significantly from what we are hearing through the spring and summer.

Expectations are going to explode if we can get through Miss St. And Auburn and start 3-0.

I am optimistic.

I can see LSU going 11-1.

I can also see LSU going 7-5.

This.

Whatever happened to 'Lesticles'? We used to be THE most exciting team to watch in all of college football.

Nowadays... meh. It's not like I gotta kid playing on the team and have to watch. It's about entertainment value. Sold my season tickets few years back. Don't even watch half the televised games... not cause I don't love LSU, just cause it's a damn boring 4 hours.

BRING BACK THE MAGIC, LES!!

I think the LSU team will be better than last year, but so will Arky and Auburn.

So I'm not sure the overall odds of a better record are improved.

I can't see us going 11-1 with a offense that has a ton of questions and a DC that has a ton of questions. 8-4 might be more like it.

None of the upper tier SEC teams are going to let us run up the middle with anywhere near enough consistency to win the tough games. We have to have some simblance of a passing game. Will we?

I am also concerned about our new DC's ability to stop the spread and the read option.

Where were you the second half of last season? We won 4/5 and took the fifth to OT doing just that.

Guaranteed 2 losses on this alone. Factor in another Mismanagement game or two either from a personnel or play calling perspective (which is the norm) and you have 3-4 losses. This is the new normal.

While I always look forward to the season and am excited to be see the new Tigers play, I always expect Miles to be Miles

Awwwww. Poor baby got his felling a hurt. I would love to see lsu near the top five with a ten win season after the reg season. But unlike you I know about reality. This team has top five talent but not a top five coaching staff. Or qb play. They are way to predictable and it will cost them again this year.i have said 8-5 and will stick with it
