I miss the old end zone style

The "Geaux font" just doesn't do it for me like the block letters did. That is all.

Seems like a lot of people prefer the old end zone font, personally I like what we got better. I felt like the old one was kindve hard to read

A&M did their end zone special for the Bama game to honor one of their teams from the 1960’s I believe. When I saw that I was wishing we could do ours old school again from time to time.

The old big block LSU covering the entire endzone looks much better visually. (See the 2001 LSU vs Auburn halftime show footage that's on here currently)
The current Geaux Font LSU would also look much better if they would just make it bigger.
It's like the LSUAD DG's wont budge because they'll have to admit they made a mistake.

The old endzones are vastly overrated. That's not an endorsement of what we have now necessarily but I don't see the allure of going back to the old ones. There's just too much dead space in our endzones now. They should stick a tiger head in there or find some meaningful way to eat up the blank space. Not exactly at the top of my list of things to bitch about at the moment though.

i remember walking in for the first game they changed it and being so annoyed. pretty sure it was when Miles first became coach.

The way I personally see it some like it the old style, and some like it the new style. It’s a brand image to stay competetive with everyone so I can see why LSU changed the font. Also, I don’t see anyone complaining about the old toonces when that got phased out. So some changes won’t please everyone, but I like both and it would be fun to see it happen every so often to please both sides.
