If we could ever develop decent QB play, we would be in business.

Because Miles is a very likable guy and LSU is a major SEC school that plays a lot of prime time nationally televised games each year with multiple national and SEC championships in a talent rich state, and on top of that Miles hires the kind of assistants that recruits want to play for and runs a program which excels in getting kids to the next level. All of these things are why we get blue chip recruits and none of them pertain to the complaints that a lot of people have with Miles.

Don't read much into this. If he's a decent human being he'll at least give them the courtesy of a visit. Once a player flips he rarely ever flips back. My money is still on Cam being let go.

Because they buy into what our coaches are selling, & they damn sure don't pay much attention to this board(thank goodness).

I'm guilty of believing Miles was gone (weather right or wrong) after following this board all last week, only to find out that wasn't the case. I'm starting to think 65%-75% of the base lurks here and about less than 10% post on a consist bases.

Sad part is the 10% thinks its about 80%

Nice to meet you, you blithering dimwit.
None of those players came to LSU because of F. King or Joe Alleva.

Did you even read what you were saying? An AD can be totally inept and his FB coach can pull in top recruits.... It actually happens all the time.

Joe Alleva is in over his head, and is far too incompetent to lead this great program. There is no doubt about that.

How could such a pathetic coach help them get to the NFL early? That seems to be self-contradictory to me!

Thats because you are a fricking retard alter.

No one is questioning whether or not Miles can recruit athletes, put them in a first rate weight and training program and showcase them to scouts. shite he does that better than anyone other than Saban.

What we question is whether or not he will ever be able to take those same athletes and win a championship again.

frick I'd be happy with taking those athletes and getting fricking plays in on time.

He is a good man and father figure. Again, no one is claiming otherwise.

Listen, I hate losing as bad as anyone on this board and I can guarantee you that there is nobody here that wants to beat Alabama worse than I do. I am on UA campus almost every day with my job. I am just saying that if Miles was as big a loser as most on this board acts like he is, there is no way so many great players would praise him even after they have moved on!

It is really simple. A bunch of guys that have no clue about how college football really works think they know way more than the people actually involved in it.

One sits at key boards pretending to be experts and the other group goes out and plays it.

I've supported Miles as I have every LSU HC since Charley Mac, although I was ambivalent on his retention this year.

The true skill that I think most can agree on is his ability to recruit well. Recruiting has changed drastically over the last 20 years to the point where it is "Reality TV" now. The recruits are the "stars" that can interact with media and the nation. Overall Miles has done well in this regard. My only complaint is unbalanced classes by position groups yearly. Which is the very reason every one is saying LSU needs LBs and DLs.

Certainly some years a position group may need more or less attention for various reasons, but two OLs one year, no DTs or LBs, the next should never occur.

I completely agree with you NotRight37, but we also have more than our share of "sure things" that were not so sure! Garrett-Trey L.-Clark

So excuse the frick out of us if we would like to a forward passing game that isn't from the 1950s.

It's because these message boards give the disgruntled minority a place to voice their minority opinions and appear much more prevalent than they actually are by repeating the same drivel day after day.

In reality, these self-important malcontents are either kids or someone you wouldn't discuss football with if they were face to face
with you.

It's naive to think that many of these posters are even LSU fans to begin with. Many of these disgruntled posters are so illogical that it is very easy to believe they are just shite stirrers.

Something tells me that you do none of the above.
You talk tough and pretend that you are an adult, but I don't see enough intelligence in your posts to convince me that you make enough money to do any of that.

LSU boosters were willing to pony up 15 mil last week to get rid of Miles.

Who's naive again?
