They gave up one legit TD to an offense that scored 43 on Bama. Go play in traffic.

This isn't about Aranda as much as the players. They have to sort out alignment based on the formations and the motions. It's all about knowing your position and communicating to make sure your teammates know theirs. Sorry you guys don't like making honest evaluations about your football team. I guarantee you Dave Aranda is going over this today. Just as I have referred to it. Have a good day gentlemen. Stay classy! Oh wait... Nevermind lol

Jeebus.

You'd think we were playing Vandys offense the way some idiots talk.

The first half was NOT "lost".

Unless we turn the ball over this game will not be won in the first quarter.

The key to this game is moving the chains. If we sustain some drives it will mean that our passing game is making positive plays and keeping them honest. With Ensminger and Orgeron we have a chance for Etling to make that happen.

We did a good job of containing OM's WR and their TE Ingram. Bama has Ridley at WR and Howard at TE but they also have a running game. Make Hurts pass to win.
We can earn the title of DBU in this game.

(1) We held Ole Miss to 21 points. They had not scored less than 30 in any game this year.
(2) Our defense only gave up one legitimate touchdown. I'm not counting the 9 yard touchdown right before half.
(3) We gave up 325 yards, 77 on the first drive, 50 on the last drive. So essentially less than 200 yards after adjustments.
(4) Ole Miss had second half drives of 9, 0, 9, 12, 7, 7 and 50 (last drive when game was not in contention). This included four 3-and-outs.

OP Ill vouch for u on this I made a comment about it on the score board. It was just the first 2 drives though. It had a lot do with OM hurry up offense.

They need a better pass rush IMO, opposing QBs have had too much time.

Battle could be exploited. Aranda needs to minimize this potential for breakdown.

Considering they played one of the best offenses and QBs in the SEC, I'd say they played pretty well.
