Let some fans tell it.....these are the best guys in college basketball. Coach K would have a heart attack coaching these guys.

Mediocre talent, plays selfish basketball, lacks defensive intensity, and careless with the basketball. Other than that pretty good

It's all coaching or lack of. JJ recruited the players and coaches the practices and games. It's HIS team.

Highly questionable. Even when they are playing hard, they can't do ANYTHING.

Well, obviously that. Frankly, there is not one single aspect of this team, nor one single player on it, that is remotely close to being salvageable. This program is at absolute rock bottom in literally every possible respect and it will take years to fix, even assuming we hire a good coach, which I highly doubt given past history. The program may be in worse shape than any LSU program in history in any sport. It's really hard to imagine, let alone believe, how things could have gotten this bad.

Do you remember when we were having a similar argument back when Dinardo was coaching the football team to a winless SEC season. No Talent?

After further evaluation, there are players on the bench at LSU that probably couldn't make the roster on any other team in the SEC.
Jones must be as lazy as his predecessor in regards to recruiting.

Wait what. There's plenty to complain about but to say that every player is unsalvageable is just laughable.

They have one good player and some role players. Not as bad as their record, but mediocre talent overall. Should have won four or five conference games at least.

No, coach K would never allow them to play like they do. He'd actually, you know, COACH them and demand high-level, smart play.

And he'd get a lot out of these guys.

Wow, there's a whole lot wrong in these statements.

We've got some decent players, don't know how you claim none are salvageable.

And a good coach can turn around this program quickly. Basketball isn't like football where it does take a few years to rebuild a roster. Basketball is about recruiting a couple studs and a few solid role players. And that can be done very quickly.
