I expect Les for >$4MM/yr salary to...

Les should be focused on the game until the last second in a bowl game for the money he gets paid. I was saying on the last series from the beginning to run normal plays so that you could run the clock out & don't make but a little more than $100K per yr. Yet, we pay this guy that kind of money to be brain numb.

We pay him this kind of money because his contract says "win a NC and you get a shitload of money". What did he do? He won a NC and a frick load of other games but yes you could have done all of that to. We know how smart you are when it comes to coaching football

And to the OP if he fumbles what are you on here saying. The end of the game was fine. Les was going to call timeout with 1 second on the play clock. The team went to the line in error ... Probably do to an inexperienced QB.

One of the stupidest lines of reasoning of all time. If you think Les fricked up then bringing his salary into it is specious. Saying that for $x million per year he shouldn't make that mistake implies that at some lesser salary the mistake is acceptable. In this case, it's even worse since the fact is that Les didn't frick up.
