the two main thesis appear to be:

1. Les Miles recruiting is overrated bc it is so easy to recruit Louisiana

2. We are endanger of losing the program and success

These things do not add up. If it is so easy to recruit then it shouldn't take a new good coach more than 2-3 years to get us back to the top if the program did suffer a down turn. So how are we are endanger of losing the program?

A series of bad hires will kill a program faster than anything else. See: Us in the eighties and nineties, Tennessee in the 2000's, Michigan currently, etc. Making a coaching change is fraught with hazards. It can always get worse.

*theses
*in danger

They focus on the object of their obsession, Les Miles. It doesn't matter that we are starting true freshmen all over the place and have lost to the (now) #2 and #3 teams in the country. We're LSU. We're supposed to win EVERY game big.

We don't want LSU to turn into Texas.

With a lot of them, it's not even about LSU, it's about Miles. They've never liked him, his success has been galling to them, and they've been waiting a long time for their chance to jump on him.

keep your delusional head in the sand and ignore all the problems that have arisen from Miles and they reared their ugly head again last night. stay in denial. keep ignoring that these problems have never been brought up here over the years.

It's not the losses so much per se. It's the brutal butt rapes we've taken.

okay and what happens then? My self worth isn't tied up in the school's record.

Let's say that does happen Les Miles gets on the hot seat and if he doesn't fix he gets replaced. Everyone has already said how easy it is to recruit Louisiana so?

A waste of time and your writing skills. They never will get it! Miles teams are loaded every season with kids that wind up in the NFL because they're so talented. He wins games because of this great talent otherwise he would have been gone long ago. His teams are always unperepared mostly, do stupid shite that cost them some games, can't make neccessary adjustments at halftime to get back in games and more. All have to do with coaching. That we have young freshman players excuse is the latest. A lot of other schools like Alabama, Texas A&M and others bring in new fresh talented faces also and stay competitive. shite is getting old.

Let's put aside Sabin for the moment. There's onlhy one of him.

Please list current head coaches/major programs who are better over the last ten years. Honest question. I'm looking for an example of what we should be.
