Unfortunately, in our current state, our program has no business even being on the floor with a program like UConn. It's sad but, true. As it is, coach Caldwell has not been able to recruit top talent over the past three seasons. So, this is where we are. Hopefully, we'll see an improvement in the recruiting beginning with this incoming class. The class looks good........not great.........thus far.

I believe in investing and supporting our women's basketball program and I had no issue with the Caldwell hire or the money they gave her, but she's just not getting it done.

The South Carolina games from last year are somewhat comparable.
This is a team playing a bit shorthanded this year, but there is no excuse for the issues for this program.

I think it's time to just move on.
Will we actually have the balls to fire her and hire someone competent, I have little confidence in that. The program is now at rock bottom, we have some issues now that will take years to fix. I like Caldwell and think she is a very good coach but her recruiting woes are the issue! She has not shown she can bring in a great class here, nothing brings me any optimism. I just think it'll be time to move on after this season. I think she's somewhat defeated and the staff have given up. They look annoyed and irritated now.
