And a great quote machine for Glenn Guilbeau.

Those are facts.

I won't go into my opinion of him.

I do NOT like to see this shite being put out publicly. It's never a good thing.

Even though I don't like how CLM coaches he seems to have represented our Tigers very well.

I do not see any reason why anyone would justify treating him poorly. It's just not necessary or needed.

We're already at mediocrity. 5-3 and 4-4 last 2 yrs. add this yr and 13-9 isn't exactly championship level. Record has gotten progressively worse each season the last 4 trs

Yep, you're wrong. Charlie Mac was never a great coach - he never challenged for the natty as Les has three or four times. Then he went downhill and was turning into a poor program. It was past time for him to go.

Give me what he has made during his tenure and you can post anything you like. You gotta be "damn strong" and have a "big chest" if you are going to play with the big boys. For that kind of money you have to field and entertaing team. Been pretty mediocre lately.

I agree... I hate all this... I like Les, but he does need to be criticized, but not this bad.. Entitled is the perfect word for several people who post... I will stay off the message boards for awhile....

Les Miles is a good guy but he isn't bigger than LSU football. It was here long before him and will be long after. We are all fans because we love to watch and cheer for victory. I want to see this team win every game and I understand almost every year they won't. There is nothing wrong with any fan wanting perfection. when it becomes this clear that Miles coaching style / philosophy is handicapping this team from perfection then it's time for a change

I knew coach Pevey and family. All of this is sad and reflects poorly on LSU. I hate it. The man deserves a helluva lot more respect than this.

Well said.

I've been alive for 9 LSU football coaches, including Bo Rein RIP.

That's MAC, Bo, Stovall, Ansparger, Archer, Curley, DiNardo, Saban and Miles.

LSU football isn't above one coach, not when MAC got packed, not when Bo died tragically, not when Ansparger offered up Archer and signed Spurrier at UF, not when Saban announced leaving on Christmas Day and not when Les leaves.

The difference from the first 7 and the last 2 is point blank $$$. Joe Dean had the why try for a dime when I can earn a penny mentality. That narrative changed in 1999. People forget that LSU paid Saban the third highest salary in CFB history to come to LSU. How did that work out? Thank God for TAF and Emmert. LSU isn't the ginger step-child it allowed itself to be any longer.

Post of the year!!

This lunacy blows my frigging mind. The best 10-11 in the history of LSU football and now we 'better' than Les Miles. What a damn joke......

I agree with you. Being frustrated is completely understandable, calling for the guy's job, at present, is a bit much.

Next two games are crucial though.

I've been saying that CLM is the wrong guy since I heard rumors that Bertman hired him. I hope he gets canned even if he wins the next 2 games. He has always been a horrible coach and now he has finally been truly exposed his horrible coaching skills

This 100%. His "style" of football is antiquated and boring. If you are ok with 10-2 or 9-3 years 4-4 in SEC play then Elmer Fudd is your man. But if you want to see up and coming hungry assistants and a high powered offense and aggressive defense, like a lot of folks, then he should already be gone. I've met him, he acts as dumb in person as he does on TV. He must go win or lose.

Watergate was the name of the hotel where a scandal occurred. Simply adding the word "gate" to other words doesn't mean "scandal." ESPN does it bc they know that most people are basically uneducated. Don't be one of them.
