he was third string at Purdue. I just want him to start so miles doesn't ruin McMillan and Scott as well

Would read again. Very inspirational.

Care to elaborate? Etling has a much higher ceiling therefore he is the answer for the weekly QB issue.

Firing less is the solution for stopping the decline. The man has lost it.

Then you've asked the wrong question.

Maybe he is, maybe he isn't, but last night's game was much easier to watch and that equals arse in seats.

Is he the second coming of Matt Flynn- No

Is he the better option at this point in time in these current circumstances- Yes

the answer to what? we had an offense that gained 10 yards in the first qtr and the qb was 2 for 6. we were in real danger of BH losing his team.

ergo, Etling WAS indeed the answer last night.

and what does that have to do with the price of eggs?

Wrong. He's more of an answer than Harris. Etling can scramble, find receivers downfield and put the ball in a place where they can attempt to catch it.

When was the last time we saw that from a QB?

If you couldnt tell the difference between Etling in the pocket and the way the offense moved vs Dumbo then you need to stop watching LSU Football.

Ok I know you're confused with this football thing. do this. Watch Etling make the throws we've been crying for over the last 3 years. Then watch him actually look around before throwing. Oh how about when he starts to run then completes the short pass for a 1st down (called back on penalty). Then see Guice bust through massive holes cause, gasp, the other team thinks we might pass again.

BTW all done without the benefit of LF7 scaring the shite out of the opposing DC.

Etling is not the reincarnation of Drew Brees. He at least gives us some hope of competent QB play. How many times have we heard that all we need is a game manager, a QB who will not lose the game for us. Watching the game last week an interception sealed the loss. Did you see anything in the start of this game that was different?

Then who on the roster is the answer? Harris certainly isn't.

Game manager, does his progressions, team responds (except for Dupree) and we look better.
BH had plenty of opportunities. Too many. Time for him to sit and see if opportunities present themselves again.

The kid has a weak arm 0completions Partly on receivers but he under threw plenty and two turnovers in the second half and was turnover prone back to his early days
