With people stacking the box when LSU goes to the I formation, it seems like we could have some success running the ball from the shotgun set. Several times when we were in 3rd short, Auburn had about 9 or 10 guys within 7-8 yards from the LOS. I'm hoping that we will start going to more 3 WR sets on 3rd and short so we can get some guys out of the box. I just don't remember us running it when we are in the spread.

teams will try to force us to beat them with Mett. Hope he's up to the task.

Oops!?! I just saw two runs from the spread in the 3rd Q of the Auburn game. The 1st was about 12 yards and the second was for two.

Running into 10 man defensive fronts just doesn't seem very productive to me..

We used to run from the shogun all the time with Crowton.

Well hold tight to your pants this weekend, because it will happen again.

Josh isn't the answer at LT, but Stud is going to try and prove a point. Les wants to trust his men and will not screw it up for Greg.

This kind of stuff works great for Towson. I pray to god that they make adjustments for UF.

They can't believe running straight into 10 defenders is smart football

Which explains the lack of rushing yardage this year.

I remember at least a few... but mostly because I dislike that formation for LSU. We should stick with the I for the majority of plays.

Thankfully I can only remember lining up without a running back once so far this year. That was a staple a couple of years back for Lee. Never understood it on downs that weren't 3rd and very long.
