Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see them win it, but if they just so happen to lose a hard fought close game, I'd take it, because if teams are going to get us. They better do it this year because they are young and getting better and can you imagine this offence with a qb who can throw and or run with the ball? And a young defense that plays well now but a year of added experience?

Most of us would be happy with a hard fought close game. That hasn’t really happened against them though. We’ve had 2 games I’d say were close in the last 6

Probably the biggest positive of that Auburn game (other than winning, of course) was that the team had to dig out of a 20-0 hole against a top-10 team.

That sort of game is HUGE for a young team. Teaches them to keep clawing regardless of what the scoreboard says.

Young teams tend to be very emotional. Learning how to take a gut punch and keep fighting is vital. That will pay off over the rest of the season.

No. frick that.

I want a close win or a blow out loss because we tried to win it by passing because we all know thats the only way to beat Saban. Why are we ok with coming out and trying to run it and inevitably losing every fricking year?

Air.
It.
Out.

I dont care if Etling gets sacked 20 fricking times and throws a billion interceptions. The only way LSU has a chance is to try and trust the passing.

If I told you there is a 100% you lose if you run or a 97% chance you lose if you pass. Which one are you going to take?

A healthy mix of both?

I'd say 3.

None in Tuscaloosa, though.

Not really that young.

Is a blow-out win not acceptable?

Either you pimp for LSU to win 66-3 and O and Alleva get lifetime contracts and statues ... or, you're just not a real fan on here.

Ideally but if running doesnt work at all and it never really has recently, then just air it out and maybe you get lucky and pluck a few from the air or get some PI or roughing the passer calls your way. Cant hurt to try if you know youre going to lose anyway. Its your only chance to win.

That would be great but I think the chance of that is <0.0003%.

it's not that simple. we are not a great passing team and if bama knows we are going to pass every play they will tee off on etling. and then we will indeed have a zero per cent chance of winning. I think Canada is a better OC than you.
