Whats the difference in those two teams and us? They spread Bama out and were successful doing it bc it nullifies the front 7 to an extend and forces them to account for a lot of stuff.

Yeah. I don't blame players in college.
Such a dumb-assed statement! By "blame" we don't mean that they committed a crime or are losers at life or any of that. But I guess you think that around 21-22 years of age, players cross some mythical boundary such that you can "blame" players in the NFL? Makes no sense.

LSU blew-out Auburn - so were the players just better or did Les Miles and crew just out-coach the other side?

Grimes too. But he has been stellar up unit now. But he met his match. Nonetheless, players get the most blame. Their heads were not screwed on right. Maybe it was good for them in the long run and they learned lesson. Bama certainly learned from the lessons they learned when they lost to Ole Miss. Time for us to get back to the basics.

That was the worst effort I have seen from an Oline in years. You cannot tell me that our line is that much worse than TN or Ole Miss. Does anyone think that was our best effort.

Like many you equate results with effort. You don't think this team busted their arse on every play? Maybe, the result was not what we wanted but this team represented LSU with class and gave their best effort. There does not have to be someone to " blame " for every loss.

There are still goals in front of this team. They will need help, but there is still a chance to get into the CFP playoffs by winning out and then having other teams beaten. A one loss LSU with that loss being to Alabama would be worthy of a semifinal berth or a major bowl.

The coaches let the players down with that gameplan.

1st down calls were the problem, just like it's been for years. We run on 1st which puts us in 2nd and 10-12. Now the defense knows we're in passing mode so they make their adjustments. Next series, same thing, same outcome. A team usually only has 6 to 8 posessions per game. You can't waste them.
