I think Jared would have never played very much if Robinson was not hurt---and that is so wrong.

Meh. He's been average at second. As you probably saw when he got thrown out, he's not the most reliable player. No flame, but I was actually disappointed when they let him back on the team.

He is the one guy that truly has the physical tools to play MLB. He would have to move back to the outfield and become a more disciplined hitter. He is the one with the tools and Scivique is not far behind.

These bastards have been hard on Jared. Yet, they are wrong. He is the leader of this team. Give him his due.... No, they think Bregman is the leader of this team. Admit, he is a failure when it counts.

Calling some of the posters in this thread HUGE fricking idiots would be an understatement.

Was just talking about him in the game thread.

He was tremendous at the plate, the stolen base, and his fielding was incredibly smooth

I actually agree. If in fact the whole disqualification issue was actually mishandled and nothing shady went on then I am very happy for him. Dude has come on strong lately.

the whole disqualification issue

Article in the paper today said he received a failing grade by one point for not raising enough money for a golf tournament, which was a project that made up a high percentage of the grade. School ruled that it was inappropriate. That should have been obvious from the start and he wouldn't have missed any games.

Yeah, such an awe-inspiring story of how a star player barely passed sports administration. Serious 30 for 30 potential

Foster let up at the end when he didn't know what to do given no plate to slide to.

I don't know the college rules but he should have just run the catcher over since he had no plate
