Article I'm reading on WRBZ says Westbound?

LINK

This won't affect anyone coming into BR from the West but it will affect on you on your way back home.

BATON ROUGE – The inside lane on I-10 west from the Mississippi River Bridge to the Atchafalaya Basin Bridge will be closed starting Friday afternoon.

According to DOTD, the closure will start at 6:30 p.m. Friday and will last until 6:30 a.m. Monday morning. Traffic officials say the closure is needed for asphalt rehabilitation.

Drivers are urged to avoid I-10 west between Baton Rouge and Lafayette and use US 190 as an alternate route.

Beat the traffic everytime using WBRZ's advanced traffic tracking technology. Click here to go to the traffic center.

Hmmmmm

I drove it yesterday. It's probably for the best, that accident must've been really severe, because the road is definitely damaged.

Sounds like it's annual fundraiser for the Livonia PD.

Best of luck to them. I hear asphalt has a high rate of recidivism.

Someone tell Krotz Springs to cook extra boudin and cracklins. I never drive by without picking some up.

I jist read on KATC where it's both this weekend and next.

Watch put in Port Barre as well. I'm not leaving me house this weekend. 190 and I-49 will be nightmares.
