Officials from both schools will meet with ESPN on Sunday to discuss moving the game away from Houston’s NRG Stadium. Two potential relocation sites are LSU’s Tiger Stadium or New Orleans’ Mercedes-Benz Superdome. A source told SB Nation both schools are committed to playing the game Saturday in a different city. BYU does not allow its athletic teams to play on Sundays, per university policy in accordance with the Church of Latter Day Saints.

BYU playing in the Dome on Saturday night couldn't be a bad thing for their brand

If that storm drifts east early this week Baton Rouge or Nola will look like a stupid decision.

It could indeed do that, but I think the Superdome is a reasonable gamble.

I'm very relieved the decision is in ESPNs' hands...this game will get played and televised...that is all I want...and for the flooding to stop.

if they aren't considering Provo they must be thinking NOLA is a fairly safe gamble.

It just seems like a much safer bet. It won't get hit by the storm. Baton Rouge and New Orleans easily could.
