With 43 seconds left in the half, WVU had the ball in their own territory and was called for a holding penalty. It had been 3rd down. LSU accepted the penalty. At the time, I wondered why we didn't decline the penalty and make it 4th down. We didn't decline. The penalty made it 3rd and 19 deep in WVU territory. WVU tried a screen. LSU blitzed. TM7 intercepts the ball and runs to the one, setting up an LSU TD just before halftime. Shows what I know.

did anyone in the united states see that coming? Reminds me of the reverse that we did against bama last year.

They had to have had their offense on the field to make Miles think they were going for it. That's the only thing I can think as to why he accepted it.

Glad it worked out.

My buddies and I were miffed they didn't decline it. As the next play was starting I shrugged and said "maybe they think they can get a turnover". I think Tyrann batted the ball before I got the sentence out...

That really was beautiful. Herbie just finished saying something like...they know whats coming, and LSU knows they know whats coming. Now,question is can they stop it. We all know what happened next.

Lee's and Wares execution at the beginning of that play were key. They sold the hell out of it.

Wasn't that the only holding called on 65 pass attempts?

Down only 13, wvu's decision to go for it on 4th &3 at the end of the third was huge ...and stupid.

When are we gonna learn that Les is always a play ahead of us! He knew the interception was the next thing to happen in his game plan!

These calls are why we're at home on the rant and not on the sideline!
