The game turns on a senior getting flagged for unnecessary roughness. It appears as though he retaliated against the other guy attempting to gouge his eyes through the face mask under the pile. What would you do to keep this from happening? Maybe have the scout team do this consistently in practice in order to instill the discipline to keep from retaliating? If you screw up and retaliate in practice you get to run many gassers? Any ideas? Bueller? Bueller?

Any penalty of 15 yards warrants one appendage removal, starting with the pinky toe. They'll get the point sooner or later.

Alem's penalty was out of pure frustration. Of course, that's never happened in the history of the game of football.

I don't think it was out of frustration. Tyson had just batted a ball down. I honestly don't think Alem could do that again if he was trying.

Alem said the guy was trying to poke him in the eye.

I do it like this.

1. If its a 15 yard or personal foul penalty(blow to the head, roughing the passer) or an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.......Laps for every yard(15) and sit out 1 half.

2. If it turns out to be a game changing or one that causes us to lose a game........benched the entire next game to think about what you did. I dont care if you are a star player. You cant give away games on silly fouls like that. Like the one where it was 3rd and forever and turned into 1st and ten. Thats a key moment.

Alem was trying to make a play to get to the ball. He was short of the interception and therefore, frustration got to him. That's what I'm saying. ...but according to some, he just kicked the ball because Alem's just a thug and a "Miles' player."

Agreed..but one of the worst penalties is the block in the back...to the players the arse is in the back the dick is in the front..hit the site with the dick...understand

Because he doesn't plan and simple. It's about taking responsibility to be under control and not get out of control. Its called taking ownership of every action you make. If a person is under control then stupid crap like those penalties would not happen. When my WR's started dropping balls left and right I began to punish them until they stopped it and began to making catching the football routine and just like breathing. I started out making all the WR core do push ups or up downs for every ball that was dropped and eventually they got better and I went to just the individual doing the punishment and what do ya know? They caught balls with regularity and the drops hardly ever happened. Its called discipline and it's called COACHING and being a LEADER and having a zero tolerance policy for things YOU can control. Catching a football is something an individual CAN control and not committing dumb arse penalties is also something a player CAN control. Taking ownership is what it's all about!

So you are saying your players are like robots and feel no emotion whatsoever?

If you've ever played ball at any level, you've never gotten frustrated and done something stupid? Have you ever seen players at the professional level make a stupid mistake out of frustration? What about a celebration penalty for excessive celebration? Oh, would that make it better? The point is, the players feed on emotion. Good or bad. That's what playing the game is all about. You can't convince me otherwise.

They would run laps until they were dizzy and throwing up for commiting dumbass penalties like they did against Ar-Kansas.
