Well, I graduated from LSU in 2008. I worked for some years before deciding to go back to school, so I'm not some 20 something kid. I've probably been considered by most as a sunshine pumper. Really, I think I like to see solutions and not just point out problems. I've always conceded the problems but argued that they were fixable. The way this season closed out leaves me without an argument. And it wasn't just the end of the season, but that was the straw.

Doesn't mean I won't be cheering for LSU.

I'm small gov't conservative and I am firmly anti miles and I do not trust him whatsoever.

Supporting Les Miles as if he's bigger than the program is something that only obama liberals do in their fellatio of Barry. Fortunately Rex appears to be the exception.

In my 7 years at LSU (4 undergrad, 3 grad) I have seen an LSU QB look competent for 1 season .

1/7 seasons we had good QB play.

I like conversing with people with different opinions. So i ask again. Do you think we can win a championship with out being able to pass the ball?

Anti-Miles fans pretend that LSU has made great hires over 35 years and the program is self sustaining.

Pro-Miles fans realize LSU has made about 3...including Les.

And you're an idiot that thinks because we're keeping Miles that you have somehow won something. I'll share a little something with you, YOU'RE NOT A PART OF THE LSU FOOTBALL PROGRAM. The only winners or losers are the program and the team. FTR, In my heart I'm glad we kept CLM, but I'm not sure that he is going to make any change that will help the team.

This is a different time for LSU.

The media wants you to think we are a middle of the road SEC team and should be happy with where we are.

We should not be ok with that.

He tries so hard to be an annoying contrarian dickhead and he's not even good at it and when he's not in that role, he just argues in circles with the same canned arguments, tons of fallacies, non sequiturs and red herrings. Sometimes he just posts melt, troll or mad.

He blows as a poster.

LSU is not what it was in the past before and actually has a lot of resources and advantages and incentives that would attract the biggest names in coaching.

LSU has the entire state of Louisiana to itself for recruiting, world class facilities, media exposure, world class stadium, boosters that actually give a shite about the program like the other blue bloods in college football. A great coach can do a ton of things with that.

LSU before Saban and Miles had nothing like that and still was just average in terms of results.

Oh, I'm not okay with that at all. I thought the man deserved one more year, especially since he was bringing in the #1 class in the country and the current big recruiting coaches have less than 1 year together.

I thought that LSU looked shitty in this whole process

(After the announcement)I also thought that if you've gone this far with it, pull the trigger already.

I think the boosters are cut from the same cloth as the older boosters and I don't trust them to make a good hire.

This whole scenario was very similar to Help Mac Pack, but in a world with a larger media.

ETA: and I don't believe that LSU is the caliber of program that can poach another top 10 program's coach.

I think next year we can have a nice little bump, but even if that happens I don't expect it to last. I'm just tired of seeing the product on the field.

I agree with what booger said, I like our plan A, but we never have a plan B.

Plus, we look sloppy.

I don't like what you're doing in this thread. Anyone that is on the fence with this whole situation is probably looking at your posts and those of some others and slowly pushing away.

With all due respect, the idea that my imbibing of multiple shots of Crown & melt tears is driving people away from LSU fandom is asinine.
