LSU was very soft up the middle vs UF. Also, they were weak on protecting the edges. LSU has trouble stopping the run period. Auburn has a rushing offense that is proven to be very successful. How will LSU stop or slow their rushing attack down? What is the game plan.

Dave Aranda

Can you imagine him with our athletes?
In his second year mentoring and grooming them?

Gonna wreck shite!

I'm glad he is back but our rush defense issues goes beyond the return of one player.

Haha how many times have you seen the Rant endorse Aranda for LSU head coach.

Hopefully guys on the D line will be healthy and we have less missed tackles.

I think LSU will use the end zone to halt the yardage that Auburn can get running the ball.

You pretty much have to bring Delpit down into the box on every play that isn't an obvious passing down.

I would much rather die on 2 deep TDs matching our good corners on their WRs than die a slow and painful death being run on 6 yards every play.

and I'll say it again, I don't think he's head coach material. I could be wrong, but LSU certainly is no position to hire someone who's had no experience as a head coach. He may do well eventually somewhere but he would have to have a lot of growing room and LSU cannot afford to provide.

first they have got to tackle better. Stay in their gaps and play their assignments correctly. malzhan is the king of misdirection.

Auburn is going to score points. If we can limit first down run yardage, that will put our defense in a great position to get off the field. I wouldn't be mad if Delpit or Monroe played closer to the line. Both are good tacklers.

Lawrence and Alexander being back and healthy will be huge. Herron giving us depth at end will be huge. Florida didn't gash us up the middle at all. 1 of Florida's big runs was Key not setting the edge. Another they held Toliver and stepped out of bounds 3 times.

LSU's problem against Florida wasn't up the middle, it was the runs designed up the middle but the backs bounced outside and no one was there to make the tackle or missed.
