What is the best scenario for coach Miles?
1. Pack his bags and slip out of town
2. Make everyone accountable and turn this team around
3. Admit he has no idea what to do and ask for help from his assistant coaches and allow younger coaches to help implement new innovative schemes to the offense and defense similar to what Dick Vermil had to do in 2000 with the St. Louis Rams.

if you'd have asked during the offseason, 1.

now? 2 or 3. doesn't matter, just get some fricking results.

remember osu lost to a very avg vt team early in the season and went on to win a natty.

i'm not gonna root against lsu. not happening.

now that the season is underway it's just time to win ballgames.

It's unreasonable to expect him to give up millions, so #1 is out.

The obvious answer is #2, but the obvious question that would bring is "how?".

We need a new coach.

To many TD posters miles can do nothing. It doesn't matter what he does people have developed a negativity bias against him. Media and fans alike look for the next quirky or silly thing he does and it sticks out because you are looking for it. I'm trying to see the good and bad in him though and a lot of intelligent and rational fans are doing the same. Does he make mistakes? Yes. Do many things the team does make you scratch your head? Yes. But is he a great recruiter? Yes. And isn't the offense's sucess and failure really an issue traced back to the OC? I believe so. Embrace the good things about our coach and celebrate the things he does well it will make your fan experience on Saturdays more enjoyable. LSU will win games

Find the players who practice like they want to play and pick the best of them.

Blocking and tackling aren't rocket science.

Then practice some more. Find the plays that your offense CAN execute and will work against the weaknesses in the defense you are facing. Anticipate what the defense will do to stop what you are doing and be ready for it.

What is it with this great recruiter shite? If you can't develop the talent wtf does it really matter? He has a ridiculous amount of talent on offense and can't do a fricking with it so, he needs to carry his arse so we can get someone in here that can coach the talent. He isn't the only person in the world who can convince kids to come to LSU

Tracing the problem back to the OC comes right back to Les. How many tries does he get to get a good OC if that's the case? He's the problem and that's your answer.

Well he had the entire off season to do something and from what I witnessed he did nothing. The problems still exist. So I have no confidence that things will get much better from past experiences knowing that in game adjustments usually never happen. Will a QB change help? It might to some degree, but that is not going to fix the special teams problem. You have to acknowledge that there is a problem before you can fix it. My take from Les is, he doesn't think there is a problem. Can it be turned around, yes but to what degree I have no clue. Do I think we can win the SEC and make the playoffs? NO. And that was my personal measuring stick for him to retain his job.
