How refreshing was this play?

Etling felt heavy pressure, he didn't panic, he dropped down into the pocket, kept his eyes downfield and delivered a strike to his receiver in a key situation in the game. This is the kind of thing we used to fantasize about!

That's the one thing I really like to give him credit for. He understands the pocket and is not afraid to step up into in instead of immediately scrambling the moment a defender gets even with him.

On this play, I was especially impressed with his quick release, not bringing the ball back behind his head because he knew a defender was behind him. Great motion and awareness.

I liked the color commentator's (Jesse?) compliment of Etling for this play. Said he had good soft focus around him and hard focus down the field.

So refreshing.

I feel like Harris would have just dropped to the ground instead of stepping up and trying to make a play.

Looks like he has been studying some Drew Brees film, with that pocket awareness.

What the hell is going on at the top of the screen? Is Foster Moreau(84) blocking downfield or is the DB just holding on to him for 5 solid yards? Guess the ref figured "hell with it, they both are wrong"

Why are we throwing the ball over the middle of the field? Bo Schembechler never did that, and neither are we!

Why are our blocking tight-ends running routes?!

Our RT looks like crap on that play

Good thing #84 chipped the DE on the way out

WTF was #84 doing on his "route"; maybe just getting blatantly held by the LB?

If Etling had better arm strength, he would play in the NFL.

Amazing what little expectations we have of the position now

Ever since cam got here the tes have been open, a shite ton. The past 3 qbs just never threw it to them. Harris tried, but unless the te was 35 yards down field he would just over throw it.

Somebody post a link of that incredible play that Mr. Ensminger is very familiar with - the one where he hands off to Woodley who turns and hits C. Alexander for a TD. Now that would surprise the mierda out of the Gumps.
