Do other coaches do that? Seems a little greedy.

Maybe it is actually part of a sponsorship with Bama and not a direct sponsorship with Saban.

Why on earth would that be greedy? If someone offered you even just $1000 to put a product in front of you you'd be stupid to not do it. Unless you are just anti-said product.

I wonder what percentage of a bottle of coke goes towards all of their sponsorships?

It makes you wonder how much we subsidize sports through buying products from big corporations that sponsor so many different teams and players.

It's a sponsorship deal with Alabama.

LSU has one with Coke also.

But Gatorade has the sideline contract for LSU games.

Powerade, a far inferior drink to Gatorade has the sideline contract at LSU and Georgia. All other SEC schools have Gatorade.

I'm sure it's a program sponsorship. They choose to put a bottle up there instead of a banner behind him.

Would you not put a damn bottle on a podium for money?

of course, we all would. It's just Saban-hate from the Bama-obsessed posters on this board.
