Doesn't matter who replaces him.

Kids knowing we have a someone willing to run a play other than a toss dive will load the program with talent.

Pretty cool to think about the future with a football coach.

Me too. Think of all the kids we've lost to bama because of Mile's ineptitude.

Scary really.

It will probably be worse, but at least the kids that do come will be properly utilized.

I think it will remain the same to be honest. You may lose a few that just gravitate to Les and his personality, but you'll certainly gain a few who know the offense will get them the ball and may ultimately get them a national championship

If you think that everything is gonna be unicorns and rainbows through this process, you're going to be very disappointed.

I think it needs to happen, but there are MANY potential major pitfalls.

Hiring a new coach does not necessarily mean we will bring in better recruiting classes. Hell we are damn near at the top every year in recruiting as it is. I think you mean you would like to see a competent coaching staff coach up what we have been currently getting.

I swear Chicken should periodically purge the rant of this idiocy

Like the reason we lost is our last 3 recruiting classes sucked

Recruiting is the biggest loss if you replace miles.

If there's one thing Miles is great at its recruiting. There's not much room to improve there. We will never out recruit Saban (nobody will). For some reason, we continue to pull top offensive talent year in and year out despite our offensive ineptitude.

The key in finding a new coach will be to find one that won't cost us too much on the recruiting trail. I fully expect our recruiting classes to take a decline for a few years after a coaching change.

Recruiting is fine. It wouldn't get much better. I'd like to see more focus on OL and DL though but I'm not gonna downplay Les' recruiting.
