I think its safe to say that Harris is going to transfer after this year, if he doesnt see playing time.

If he's not playing, what difference does it make? Jennings 2.0

Harris could redshirt next year then take one more shot at QB in 2018.

Even if he did transfer, he needs to redshirt and mature.

True but he'd be passed by the other qb(s) coming in. He'd be better off going to a smaller school.

Harris should come to LC and shine for McNeese. Not joking, Good coach here and he could lead them deep in the D2 playoffs.

Just don't ride around with him after a game.

He can go to ULL and take over when Jennings leaves after this year.

Or he could stay at LSU and learn how to read the best college defensive schemes in the country. He isn't Cam Newton sized so his path to the NFL is not running the zone read. It's knowing which receiver is going to be open, before he is actually open, and throwing the ball to the spot where the receiver will catch it.

If he hasn't gotten it by now, he's not going to get it with 2 more years.

I disagree. A redshirt year would do him wonders. I just wish we were in a position to it his freshman year. Though it may help him more now if he matures a bit.

He could spend time basically just getting his footwork and throwing motion correct which would allow him to not have to think so hard about those two things when he's trying to figure where to throw the ball before ultimately forcing it to Malachi Dupre. A year off would also allow him to study up on the playbook, and maybe he would actually do it now.

I am very glad that we put McMillan in at the end of the Jack St game and not Lindsey Scott. I think redshirting Scott is going to payoff big time for us in the future.

Harris was heavily recruited by Meyer at OSU. Meyer got good QB play out of Miller and Jones. Harris would have been successful there.

I agree he would benefit from a RS, do it next year he could just study and mimic Etling. He could learn poise and could come back that RS year and light things up. E has the talent he simply need to know where people will be and what the defense is doing. His best shot getting paid is to stay!! If he gets impatient like he has he can forget the NFL and that's just the facts. Learning from Cam and Etling would be the best thing for him. Etling didn't give up went to a better team and now look. Pro style is where you make your money. This could be the best run of QBs we've ever had if he were to stay and actually learn.

Called it last week...he doesn't have the chest to be a team player...support all those men ...who supported him..or even support miles who went out on a limb...blindly for him...
