we've played two decent teams. beat em like i thought we would.

got all fricked up by a traditional sec doormat and a glorified fcs program.

Figured we'd be 6 and 1 with a loss to a team like Florida or Auburn that should've been a win. But our o line is so thin that I'm shocked we are 5 and 2. They really have come together these past two games. They looked completely different in the second half of this game than they did in the first half, and they looked better in the first half than they did in first few games. It's good to see them starting to gel. When Etling has protection, he's really not a bad quarterback. He's not amazing or anything, but he can make the throws he needs to make for the most part.

I never thought this year was going to be the problem when we hired O. I still hate the hire, btw. So while today was a great win, we aren't as good as what I thought we would be. But being that we are playing so many freshman and breaking in a new offense and some of the injuries we've had, I can accept struggling, no excuse for Troy.

I thought we might have one loss at this point.

My concern is year 3 when we are breaking in new coordinators. Maybe it works out, I don't know. But I think long term it's a shitty concept.

I really thought before the season we would be 8-0 going into the Bama game, so yes, it's disappointing.
