It'll be strange to hear someone else. Been listening to Hawthorne a long time now, he's instantly recognizable.

I will while Ben Simmons cuts the net down, delivering a national championship before heading to the NBA.

Yeah I'll probably be watching One Shining Moment while Jim's signing off.

Many a Saturday night I sat on my front porch and listened to Hawthorn make some of his epic calls. KWKH was all I had to hear LSU and there's a huge part of me that will always miss those days. It won't be the same without him. So yeah, count this old guy in.

I will. In the late 80's and early 90's he made so many great calls that I still remember. "Thank you and good night" when we won our first title in 91 was awesome.

He will be tough to replace and I hope it's not hanagriff.

Ya know a lot of people of the newer generation like to bash the guy because of a few hiccups but seriously hes the second announcer in my lifetime..I think hes done a hell of a job..will be weird with a different person.

Thankfully there's very few reasons these days for me to have to listen to any games on the radio. That being said don't let the door hit your negative, ornery uninformed arse . Good riddance .

he doesn't do every game, I'll miss his voice, but not his calls.

Bremen hits it deep it's way back there way back there, and the 2nd baseman catches it behind the bag.
