re: How long does the spring game last?

Whoever said "too long" hit it on the head.

The first half actually somewhat resembles an actual game. Although some players change jerseys and play for both teams, it is timed like a regular game. Don't expect kickoffs or punt returns...those are just dead balls after the kick.

In all seriousness, leave at halftime. The "second half" usually ends up being situational stuff and does not resemble actual game play...and by then the novelty of the whole thing has worn off. You won't miss anything.
