Exactly. Nothing is set in stone.

Any moron in this thread trying to claim that it is a sure thing either way doesn't know what they are talking about.

My point exactly.

Dude these projections are going to change drastically by the time the bowls selection show gets here. Drastically.

...allow me to give you a few educational mattering facts.

texas is a state of 36 million people. louisiana has what one/seventh of that. 36 million viewers > 5 million. that is teas vs louisiana alone.

johnnie football is the hottest name is college football. honey bear is high as a kite whoever knows where.

no one cares about what you did last year, or the year before that. lsu couldn't beat bama in death valley. a&m beat bama at bama.

Both LSU and A&M will travel well regardless of the fact, but honestly, how can you question the LSU Brand? Did we not have most of the highest rated football games all last season and also some of the most highest viewed games this season as well? LSU v. Bama pulled bigger ratings than TAMU vs. Bama/ any other football game played this season. Not to mention, LSU has the most watched game of the year on ESPN when we played USCe. Texas may be a bigger state than Louisiana and JFF may yield major attention, but that still does not make their brand the same as LSU's nor the mass appeal.

Don't tell us ratings don't matter when advertisers flock to networks and bowl committees to get prime marketing spots for businesses. They want the money, a big following of fan support, and tv ratings. When TAMU can consistently pull high ratings against other teams not named Bama or LSU then we can talk.

Sounds an awful lot like you are claiming something then. If you are saying you "know" whats going to happen, which you are saying by saying A&M would definitely go over LSU, then you are kidding yourself. No one knows what will happen, including you.

That alone is the funny thing to me. Our brand pulls great ratings around the country even with a small media market, while TAMU can't pull ours when living in a bigger market in Texas.

All this talk is moot anyways...we need FSU to beat UF. We shall see!

LSU to the Fiesta > Texas A&M to the Cotton

(FWIW, A&M does not get higher ratings than LSU, so your point is incorrect from the get-go)

...don't allow yourself to be stuck in the mud. changes happen. you can either be blindsided by the changes, or see them coming. lsu peaked in national viewer ratings when they played bama. also, that game was on during prime time. lsu shot their golden goose when the lost to bama in death valley.

And all 36 million root for A&M? Or do some root for UT, which passionately hate A&M, maybe Baylor, TCU, Tech?

Your arguments suck.

So what's the excuse for the LSU vs. USCe game that produce ESPN's highest ratings thus far (this season)?

And it sounds like you shot your wad when Johnny Manziel stepped out on the football field and you got to see him in his uniform.

...i'm not on a bowl committee. and again, i didn't say definite. but i do know what matters to bowl committees. a&m has the edge in what matters most.
