How is Ochinko tossed after the final out?
Posted by King of New Orleans on 2/21/17 at 10:06 pm36
Warranted after arguing a close call or total dick move on the ump?
I'm going with dick move. Isn't there a fine/penalty for a volunteer assistant getting tossed?

Completely dick move. Ump knew he was wrong he just wanted to make the "exciting" final out call
He had his fist clinched and arm cocked back when the ball was still at 2nd

They need to make sure that guy never works an LSU game again.

One game suspension I believe.

Should be a rule if the ump argues back after a play, ejects the coach, and there's clear evidence the coach is right, then the ump is the one ejected.

Some coaches don't understand that jut cause the game is over u can't just say or do whatever. He's young he'll learn

Just saying or doing whatever would imply that protesting the call wasn't justified. It was a blatantly terrible call. Sometimes the umpires need to know they're doing a shitty job.

Tonight's first base umpire's name is Ron Broussard.

I was going to respond to this, but it won't matter. You're either trolling or retarded and I don't feel like figuring it out tonight.

i don't get why they don't expand replay to first base in college. Also I love the thing about an ump getting tossed if he's wrong and tosses a coach.
But it definitely shouldn't count as getting tossed, since there was technically no longer a game to be tossed from.

they don't have replay period in regular season games unless something has changed.

I never realized that there was such a thing as an undergrad assistant coach. [CPM Shadowstaff] Ochinko is literally a student coach, I wonder if he gets fired if he doesn't make a 2.5 GPA.

First base coach can't argue calls. Period. I agree it was a bad call. Ejecting the umpire doesn't change the outcome. Obviously new Orleans has a good team. We'll be fine we basically have a single A ball club. We have dudes about to get paid. Maryland series should be good. They're ranked or right outside the top 25

In all leagues of BB a good ump will let you bitch a SHORT time on strike/balls safe/out calls. After you have your say you will either move on or continue and get tossed. Also if you get personal with your bitching its an automatic ejection.
