How is LSU's defense going to contain Bama's offense enough to win?

I can see the offense scoring 25+ points with a balanced attack (different formations with vertical passing mixed with some misdirection runs, bootlegs, along with the normal power runs). But I am not sure if LSU's defense is good enough to keep Bama below 30 points. The only good defensive game LSU has had this year was Florida & we now know how bad their offense is. Some of the upper classmen of defense need to step up & lead this team.

It's going to be a momentum game. They gonna make some mistakes, we gonna capitalize and get in their heads. Then we gonna debut the chainsaw penis for 2013!!!

Honestly I think we need to blitz the frick of them. I'm tired of this pansy sit back in the zone we've been playing. Put Robinson, White, and Mills on a man and go nuts. Let's be honest, this defense isn't stopping anyone straight up. Chavis needs to take a page out of Gregg Williams playbook. You might get burned, but you just might force that game changing turnover...that we've sorely been lacking this year.

Def the key to the game. Not sure if we can get off the field enough to pull it out. But if we win it will likely be because we win turnovers and big plays.

We gonna lose!!! We are simply not good enough to challenge Bama on either side if the ball.

By looking completely different than they have all year. D line stunts, array of blitzes from all areas (run and pass), pressure on QB, man up in your face coverage. Hit QB even when do not get sack. No stupid personal fouls. Keep composure. Do not let offensive formations dictate mismatches with personnel on the field. Basically, be more like BAMA.

They aren't. That's why Bama will win.

we had a far worse defense in 2008 and a mistake prone qb to boot--and took them to OT. i don't see a huge hurdle

That defense was not far worse. They were pretty damn good against the run.

I agree 100% with you!!

But there might be an issue why this can't happen and I will say it after the game or before the game start depending on a few things!! I will be at the game and ready to face off with the GAMMA FANS!!

See Bama v. aTm 2012/2013

this could end up being a completely different type of game than in past years... or not
