How is Alabama's Scott Cochran received in Louisiana (New Orleans)?

While watching the game last night, I consistently noticed this galling, God-awful "I can't hear you" voice being piped in over the audio system at Alabama's stadium.
Upon further research, I found out that it is Alabama's strength and conditioning coach, Scott Cochran. Cochran is a New Orleans native who went to John Curtis High School. He then went to college at LSU and as strength coordinator at University Lab School, LSU and the New Orleans Hornets. Cochran has been with Alabama since 2006.
I've never seen a strength and conditioning coach "marketed" and utilized this much. Simple question...how is he generally received in New Orleans and the rest of Louisiana?

In the stadium last night, I don't think I have heard a more annoying thing.

He kicked Tommy Moffit's arse last night. Alabama d-line looked like they were going up against a 1A high school team last night

This. It's time for us to look into grabbing whoever his under study is and hiring him. I guess Moffit has let the game pass him by.

He's actually a really good guy from a GREAT family. You guys are really grabbing at straws finding someone to blame for this loss. It's kind of embarrassing.
