I'm not sure any of us know the real answer. My guess is he's as talented or more so than Hawkins and Eugene but less than PP. He played a lot against Troy and did well.

He's fast and tackles well. I saw him play in high school and he is a very physical CB. If Jai and Peterson are not our starting CBs, I want Peterson and Phelon.

Also, Phelon's speed would make him a more natural fit at the nickelback position instead of McCray.

Actually, he was out of position most of the time and missed a few tackles. In the 4th quarter he came on and did a little better. Kid has tons of potential but didnt' show much of it last year.

He was not the only one out of position last year. Last year is over. Hopefully with the defensive changes this year 2008 will be soon forgotten.

I'm excited to see what Coach Cooper can do with these guys.

If he can take 2 stars that nobody knows about and turn them into NFL d-backs.........hell yeah.

I expect great things.

Easy on McCray. He played well last year when he was put in the right position and not at nickel. He was certainly an upgrade from curtis taylor at the tail end of the season

If we could get rid of all our incompetent professors,LSU could be the Harvard of the South.
Too many of our professors can only teach the really smart students.
