I just done see jennings being able to improve. He has the same mechanical issues that he had from the get go and cant read progressions.

What about his play told you this? The sub 50% passing, poorly thrown balls and inability to look off his first option? Maybe the fact that if Dural is on the field, regardless of coverage, that's where Jennings is throwing it?

The dude did not play well at any point this season. Marginal improvement won't do for us to be successful with him at QB1.

When you play the QB position and you can't throw.....that's a problem

2 more years of Jennings. Everyone should just accept it.

Seems to be a good guy and hard worker, but he does not have the arm strength to throw deep outs or fit the ball into tight windows over the middle. He is a decent runner but lacks speed.

By now we have to say he is what he is. Think of how many QBS were literally ready to play in the NFL after a little over a season of starting, Flynn, d.j. Shockley, and Newton are examples.

We would have seen flashes of real talent if he had significant upside. We saw those flashes with Harris even though he did screw the pooch in his only start.

Flynn and Shockley were both Seniors. Cam Newton was the best player in CFB as a Junior.

Jennings was a true sophomore.

We are still talking about a guy that has played or started 14 games.

I hear what you are saying but feel he has limited growth potential.

I live in Murfreesboro, TN, and he couldn't start for MTSU next year. He just doesn't have it and never will. Even if he were to manage some improvement in going through his progressions, HE DOESN'T HAVE THE PHYSICAL SKILLS!

Well, much did Jefferson develop his Jr year, under the same coaching philosophy?

I'll save you some time, and jump right to the punch line. Jarrett Lee was brought in cold, off the bench to salvage 3 games that year.

Mental either - stands in the pocket like a deer in headlights. Clueless and indecisive with terrible vision.
Fine by me if he never sees the field again.

I think the question should be how much worse could he be

Jefferson was throwing to Juniors. Jennings was throwing to Freshmen.

Try again.

In too many games this year, had as many or more carries than LF. Unacceptable.

OK.

Jeffersons Jr year

More ints than TDs, 700 less yards

Who was he throwing to then, a year later?
