This is a very tired subject and when we got that final sack to seal the deal there's no way more than 35,000 were in there

Funny thing is 75% of the MSU fans that traveled for the game left too. Everyone thought it was over.

If you people want this shite to stop contact LSU and BRPD and tell them to work out contraflow so that it's not a complete clusterfrick.

Is that the issue?

the stadium wasn't full in the first half either. top section looked about half empty.

maybe the weather caused this; maybe not.

Traffic is a huge issue. But it was also miserably hot.

We could be in a really close game and the stadium would be empty by mid 3rd quarter. Tiger Stadium only lives up to it's reputation 1 game / year (this year it will be 2 with Bama and Ole Miss at home).

I stayed until the end of the game. There was about 30K people left at the end of the 4th Qtr. My 9 yr old son wanted to see the team sing the Alama mater so we stayed and watched. Kid is more die hard LSU than 80% of the grown men I know.

I am not one to tell someone to do with their time or tickets but it is really disheartening to see the current state of the fan base. There were more fans staying after half time during the Curly years than now. I remember sitting until the end of the 58-3 FL game. It's the world we live in today I guess.

We stayed until Key's sack. Went back and hung out at the tailgate for another 20 minutes or so and spent another 15 helping pack up.

It still took us 45 minutes to get through to the interstate. It's ridiculous.

Yes, that's the main issue.

Most disgruntled fans, like me, who usually go still realize that Tiger Stadium is truly an amazing place, despite the offensive production over a few years. You might have a handful who are protesting, but it wouldn't make that much of a difference.

When you add a terrible forecast to ridiculous traffic issues, you get people who stay home or leave early.

It's crazy that after all of these years they have yet to figure something out that works.

Anything would help....
Improve consessions
Improve restrooms
Work on contra flow.

I know LSU can't snap it's fingers and make traffic better over night, but they could tweak it here and there to make improvements.

I sit in the south end zone and it's the same as it was in 1940. We still have the 1980s box TVs. It's pretty sad.

The stadium holds 30+ more fans than it did 20 years ago. You also have a big contingent of tailgaters that just come to campus to socialize. Unless they build a loop around LSU its not going to go away. Other large stadium schools ahve the same issue.

You're not beating the traffic leaving early anymore.
