How does Driskel stack up against our D?

He's a running threat which we've had trouble with in the past. His passing seems ok. FL tends to be an outside running team which we should be able to contain so a lot will come down to Driskel on 3rd downs.

We had trouble with Tebow and Newton. So did everybody else. I think we fare well against dual threat QBs.

He's not a 250,260lbs truck like Tebow and Newton. I think we'll fare well.

He'll be sacked all night, 4 picks, and at least 2 fumbles. They'll be talking QB controversy again once we finish with him.

A&M had 7 sacks. Like most, not sure they can handle the juggernaut known as the LSU defensive line. I have watched them a few times and don't see them scoring many points on our defense.

I wouldn't look at that stat in a vacuum. First, it was his first start ever. Second, TAMU led the nation in sacks last year and lead it again this year. He's still young, but he's grown exponentially in the first few games. Not saying he won't have problems, but I think you are underestimating him a bit.

I don't know why he is critised here. I have seen two of his games on TV, just because it was on, I don't like Florida especially. He improved a LOT by his 4th game this past Saturday. I thought he looked real good. I was impressed, so, I think we'll have problems with Driskel. He kept rolling out to his right and found a receiver, he moved out of the pocket well. Our secondary is our weakest group, we miss TM7 more than we admit. We miss Claiborne and Brooks too. We have not replaced them. Driskel scares me just as much as South Carolina. Arkansas is finished.

He's improving slightly but he really doesn't fair well against this D. I wish more people would see this. He's not ready for LSU.

The fact that the game is in The Swamp is the issue more than Driskell. I see INTs in him. Watching the UF/UK game, I saw three or four balls that looked like picks against better athletes.

He seems to be improving each game. LSU will need to put a helluva lot of pressure on the guy or he could give the secondary a bit of trouble.

Sacks are overrated. Fun but overrated.

Hurry ups and INTs is the key. Never let the kids get comfortable back there. Then we got'em.

The teams he has looked good rolling out on don't have the sideline to sideline speed that our D has. He will still have success doing that and running, but it should be minimized to a manageable extent.

Not really. His pocket presence led to 3 or 4 of the 7 sacks vs A&M. If his presence isn't on against LSU, good night.

The Arkansas game actually scares me alot, we could overlook them and get complacent. Especially if we are undefeated and looking ahead to the SECCG. Could be a trap game, they are still a potent team.

Didn't need to. Auburn was terrible offensively.

The guy I most worry about is Jordan Reed. He is the real deal and a future 1st round pick at TE. Gonna be a matchup nightmare...though I'm sure Chavis will have a plan for him.
