Asking because we seem to be regressing. I mean, you practice and practice, but what makes a QB get better other than confidence and gametime? What do coaches do other than run plays in practice to make a better QB? How do we actually get worse over the season if we're practicing the same plays?

Reading defenses
Throwing on time
Foot work
Improving accuracy
Reps in practice and games
Developing confidence with easy completions

At LSU we don't use rent a wins or blowouts to get the starter or the backup in game reps...we blew out tons of teams in 2011 and never saw mett

For example Harris struggles with accuracy because he throws without any fluidity in his hips and guiding the ball. A QB coach will help him incorporate that into this natural throwing motion.

These are all things that get done in practice every week. I'm assuming we don't get worse in practice. What can be done differently to reverse the direction we've been going?

Harris was throwing over a lot of receivers tonight, and I'm guessing he was too excited or something
