Good question. I have always wondered how people do this as well.

You can order a Sat-Go from DirecTV. My family has one and it's pretty cool. It's a satellite and screen that comes in a hard case. The screen is small, but you can always bring a larger one and connect it.

I've only seen a few other people that have a Sat-Go because most other people have an actual dish.

my buddies just have a regular satellite they use and bring their satellite cable box as well, and we just calibrate the signal and everything every week. he actually just pays for the service during football season and has a satellite tripod stand he sets up by the tailgate. and then we just run all that through a regular tv and hook it up to a generator. it's actually pretty easy

Just use your receiver from your home, a tripod w/dish, tv and generator.

Take your current one and the receiver, put it on a tripod and plug in the zip code for Baton Rouge when you're setting it up.

It can be a pain. Make sure you have the tripod weighted down if it gets windy. The wind blew ours over when we went to the Oregon game last year and it messed up that piece that sticks out in the front of the dish.

Obviously you'll need a little generator too.
