How do y'all think our OL performed last night

I was drinking so maybe my perception wasn't spot on. it looked to me like our LT had issues with their pass rush several times and one of the guys on the right side was not blocking well. was that Boutee? is that why Grimes put in the freshman from Tejas?
overall, the blocking seemed OK with times of lapse and times of dominance (our last TD).

It will need improvement to say the least

I thought it was pretty good.

They didn't make MSU defense quit. So lots of improvement needed.

Play calling overshadows everything else.

Boute at guard looked suspect to start the game. The backs were getting ate up every time LSU ran right. They had some better plays running that direction from the second quarter on. They were terrible handling pressure up the mid-right on pass plays well. They have to get better at the right guard position.
The left side dominated pretty much the whole game. I'd run left every chance I could if I were the coach.
MSU's d-line is one of the best in the league, btw, so I think they showed out all things considered.

Not bad for a first game.

I think if they had not done the job they did, we could not have won. It can and will improve.
I wish I could go to that Auburn game. UG! It is going to be one for the records. I will just have to settle for the Florida and maybe the Arky game. Jobs are handy things to keep.

It looked pretty good to me, but I was also drinking so lets look at the stats:
1 sack for 5 yds lost
266 rushing yds
5.7yds/rushing attempt
The stats look pretty good for the OL from last night. There were a few times that BH's running ability saved us from a sack and there were too many holding penalties. So there is room for improvement, but for an opening game on the road @ a Top25 SEC West opponent I would say they played fairly well, I would give them a grade of B.
ETA: Forgot link to stats. My bad sorry
