from all the places they've scattered for the weekend, get them on a plane, get them refocused and ready to play on Sunday or Monday? Is this even a realistic scenario?

Just for an example, suppose Jamal Adams decided to go home to Texas for the weekend. How ready will he be to play after spending eight hours in a car (there and back) and two hours on a plane?

It won't happen. The time for this thinking was yesterday.

I doubt it would be hard to do. Doesn't matter though because UF has already shut it down.

This game should be played this weekend, or ruled a forfeit.

It would be impossible. If uf doesn't want to play it's not going to happen.

To answer your question directly:
Too difficult because the decision to not play the game this weekend is in the books.

South Carolina was a class act...they realized the could not host and made every effort to play the game whereever...Florida was just too banged up to play and took the easy way out

They could but it's obvious they don't want to. They want the game moved to November

And this is not gonna change before Monday, so y'all can quit hoping this game will be played.

If they were all hanging around BR or NOLA, not very. But if the guys who live several hours away took a rare opportunity to go home for the weekend, you'd have to get in touch with them and get them back. Maybe they caught a ride with somebody who won't be heading back until Sunday night.

Then getting your mind back on the game when you were told it was scrubbed. Team meetings that didn't happen. Guys have been eating regular food instead of carbing up. Guys haven't been hydrating-you have to be pushing fluids for 24-48 hours ahead of time to avoid cramps. Etc.

If they don't mess around, I am very confident the players would jump at the opportunity.
