How did Coach O do as interim head coach at SC?

Hannagriff talked about it last night ... he let the Oline eat cookies ... they loved him for that! McClure said that interim coaches usually do away with "something" that the players didn't like about the fired coach. He had a coach in the NFL for interim who provided beer the night before a game.

They won some games with O at USC as interim.

he did well enough to have many upset they didn't give him the full time job.

He did well at USC. Players loved him but the Ivy League ad didn't want a coon arse as coach.

He did ok. Then left when they didn't offer it permanently. Is that what you want? Lose Miles AND Dacoacho?

the snobs at USC didnt want a guy from Louisiana, who had a funny accent, to be their HC

Well, as our head coach, he went 3-8, 4-8, 3-9.

10-25 overall, 3-21 against the SEC.

And this is why he would not make a good head coach. Leave him as a recruiter and positions coach.

Louisiana folks seem to have totally forgotten this...his record at Ole Miss was similar to what we saw in the '90s at LSU
