if the coaching matched the talent. This is not a knock on Jones but an observation. Blakeney is a star waiting to be born. He oozes raw potential. There is enough talent in the top 8 players to be special. Can the coaches put it all together? Hmmm.

Offense had some good ball movement today I thought. Lots of open 3s

Free throws. Who shoots those?

It's not just free throws although it makes me wonder why good shooters miss so many. Ga hustled the entire game despite being outmanned. It appeared to me that LSU could have dominated this game with more disipline and better half court offense. Too many 3 bombs and turnovers. Thankfully Patterson got hot from the outside.

You think CJJ tells them to take bad shots and to turn the ball over?

Let's make it clear, Sampson and tone take the bad shots. Both freshman both will learn.

Exactly. This dude along with half the people on this board don't understand things like this though.

This was not a knock JJ thread but do you realize how silly this statement is? A coach can cut down on his teams bad shots and discipline along with an organized plan on offense will reduce turnovers. It's not a hard concept.

What game did some of you watch? We only had 9 turnovers (UGA had 12) and we did NOT take lots of bad shots. 43% from the field is not particularly good until you note that UGA holds SEC teams to less than 38% from the field.

We shot poorly from the field in the first half and let up for the last 2 minutes. THAT is why the game ended up just a 4-point win.

Talent and potential won't get you anywhere, you have to perform on the floor.

Question for you Twillie, if and when the baseball team struggles really hard at the plate this year (to the point where people start saying they just can't hit) is that a product of poor coaching

Serious question, I'll await your answer and hang up now and listen

Ask Duke fans. They have better talent and a better coach and they don't seem to be doing that much better than LSU as of late.

You poor poor soul. It must be absolutely mind blowing to you to see coaching changes throughout the world every year, and never understanding why, and how it could be possible because, after all, no coach ever made their players take bad shots or play lazy defense. No coach has ever forced their team to lose games! It's all the players fault all the time!

I really do feel bad for you. Just living in a world of utter confusion, all the time.
