at the elite level you look for motivation and edges all around you....just two examples, Bo Jackson would watch Mike Tyson highlights before taking the field...as would Ronnie Lott...are those two guys that you can really question about "what they play for"?...these guys ALL wanna take the step to the professional level one day...to have a true champion like Brees walk in there alone would motivation enough and these kids eyes would be filled with wonderment and pump them up...just to remind you, sir...people have been picking AGAINST LSU all season, including most of the assholes on ESPN...any extra bit of motivation for "Finishing Strong" would be welcome...
