If Mett is drafted by an NFL GM after this season then the GM should be fired immediately by the team.

nah, I think he'd get drafted, especially if he continues on his current trajectory. it might not be until the mid-late rounds, but he'd be taken. we know about the physical tools and he's consistently made good decisions with the ball this yr. the only knocks are that stretch of inaccuracy he had for a couple games, and of course inexperience.

that said, he should and is coming back.

He has the entire offense coming back next year except for 2 offensive lineman. He would be crazy to go pro. His stock could sky rocket his senior season IMO.

who would have him? Watch him closely. He can't throw unless his shoulders are perpendicular to the line of scrimmage. That makes him blind to DE's coming at him from the left. He also hasn't shown he can consistently roll out and throw. If Mett is so good, how would you compare him to "Johnny Football"?

Also remember that Mett didn't grow up dreaming of playing for LSU, he was a bulldog all the way and only circumstances lead him here

He wants to stay to whip that UGA arse next year!
