Jimbo is still at FSU. He can't sign another contract, therefore nothing is "done".

Answer the question? You think Sexton does "gentlemen deals". Lol. I'll shake your hand to prove I won't go back on the deal?

You've haven't ever changed jobs at a high level within the same industry have you?

Under a contract? No. So if I'm ignorant, let me know. That's all I am asking.

From the OP's post, I think his only comparable experience is moving from the fry rack at McDonalds to the soda machine at Dairy Queen.

I'm guessing you missed the whole Chavis thing last year.

The "deal" can be "done" without it being fully executed.
I think you're getting caught-up in semantics.

I've seen 4 million dollar company's shutdown over night. Owner wake up & every employee & all the work is gone. Msa's in place & working the next day for a new company. & all this done with no rumors leaked. A seamless transition. Owner A's company left with only the equipment & debt.
Edited to add. Talk about the ultimate left with your dick in your hand.

Next time you have a question, better to ask than tell us we're wrong.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news sir but the test results came back, and you tested positive as ignorant.

Just as a hypothetical:
Miles could already be fired. They can inform him of his termination and that he will be allowed to coach the AtM game.
This means there is technically a job opening. Fishers agent works out terms. Fisher agrees. Contract gets signed after FSU/UF game. Still owe the buyout and some other details I am sure...but big ones can be done.
