I'm up in Aggieland working for family. Watching the local new tonight, the woman said that Lsu fans had already rented out most of the hotel rooms in the area. It was KBTX I believe.

not surprising.....for those that want rooms and can't get them, try Brenham (40 minutes down the road, home of Blue Bell Ice Cream), or Navasota/Hearne (both 25 minutesish, but both are shitholes).

Just booked at the Comfort Suites about a mile from campus. (only had 2 rooms left)

Already booked two rooms at the Hilton Houston North (actually had to lay over there via Continental many times-a great property) for the government rate of 79/night for a King Deluxe.. not a bad deal!
