Though the stadium is downtown, I wouldn't stay there since there isn't much to do. I would go with Midtown or Buckhead. The new W in Buckhead should be a pretty fun place to be.

If you want to stay in buckhead try the Embassy Suites, Hyatt, W, and if you want to go all out there is a Ritz Carlton at the corner of Peachtree and Lenox rd.

The Hilton that is the team hotel now has rooms. It had been showing as "unavailable". I guess all the bandwagon jumping has freed up some rooms that the LSU party was counting on using.

Stayed there in 05 for the peach and our room was infested with ANTS. Refused to offer a refund and had no other rooms available. Ended up sleeping on the floor of a friends hotel room.
