Heaven gained another tiger this week.
Jeff Plauche Sr. a beloved father, uncle, grandfather, and former cheerleader at LSU (58-60) that created that chant passed away early Monday morning.
I look forward to belting that out while Bebe and the tigers take the field this Saturday.

Okay now it makes sense. My dad was at LSU those years and he always said that cheer when I was young but I never heard it at a game when I was a student.

I once bet an Ohio state fan 100.00 that I could eat 100 oysters faster than him, as he fancied himself very good.
I won the bet.
In lieu of the money, I made him stand on a barstool in a packed restaurant and do the Hot Boudin cheer!
He was a good sport. I'm sorry for your loss, but very glad to know where that cheer came from. I went to my first game in 1958, so I heard the cheer quite a bit.
By the way, I ate them in 4:10!

I met a guy in Tennessee wearing my lsu hat he comes up to me and does the cheer. Told me how as a kid it impressed him some years ago.
