they might be pissed, but some do make good points. 3-5 in the Sec last year is not exactly cutting the mustard plus this year will be the 1st year we haven't finished in top 2 places in the Sec west in a two year period since 2001. Signs that this thing is coming to an end and we need to look for another coach.

Hate to say it but I do see a train wreck coming... it's called "the 2009 LSU football season". I really hope I'm wrong.

I particularly like the point about west virginia being the one loss team that got screwed in 2007. That's so true. Except they lost 2 games and one was Pitt.

The Big 12 is the sham - all that talk about 3 top teams last year...still lost to an SEC team. The Big 12 is a joke - they think they are the second best conference when bowl records clearly state that they are simply in top 4-5. UT cant talk - they play NOBODY this year

I was hoping that the whining would subside as LSU moved up the Top Five, but it looks like it's appropriate to whine even when you're in the #2 spot.
I could see bitching about LSU's placement if you were beneath them in the polls, but why bitch when you're ahead?
They should be complaining about Florida during the one week where Texas is arguably the better team (Florida minus Tebow < Texas).
