Damn that was painful to watch, knowing we were the better team and could have had a great win on the road...

Year 2 TQ was leaps and bounds better than his first year, he got to play with 2 NBA picks Mickey and Martin and kinda knew his roll. This was suppose to be his year for the big show and the phenom shows up. This year he seems to pressing the issue wanting to one up Simmons.

How in the hell does JJ not pull his arse? What happened to #15, he piss someone off?

damn this team

ETA

2-17-2016

& here we go again, Foul Shots, JJ, Quarterman, Simmons, ect....that was pitiful.

We shoot 52% from the line and Tim sucks, but don't worry, it's Johnny's fault

JP should have played over Sampson first half, but they don't want JP playing point guard. We have NO IDEA what is talked about behind closed doors. Maybe JP hates it and doesn't want to play it? We really have no idea

I'm sure they wanted to lose.

I don't get this either.

CJJ did. Multiple times. Problem is Gray was just as bad.

I don't know, think the same. Injury?

I hate to be that guy, but this was an expected loss. Problem is we had opportunity to win. Enter TQ and Gray and we got sent packing.

Will Johnny be responsible for any of the issues? Or is that always the players fault?

Will the players ever be responsible for the issues? Or is it always Johnny's fault?

FTs and TQ being terrible tonight aren't CJJ's fault

Damn man they been shooting free throws since they were three, they obviously practice them because Keith talked about how many they shot at practice after some game last year.

LSU were 4.5 point underdogs, so yes we were expected to lose.
That is all he is saying.

He's the coach, Practice free throws & when TQ goes fricking crazy like he did pull his arse.

I repeat He is the coach.

TQ was throwing passes to the fricking crowd tonight, and at first of the year he was bad and JJ benched his arse. He came back strong, so ya to some extent it is his fault, he's the fricking coach.

In what year since JJ has been here has LSU been a good free throw shooting team? That's a trend, and we've had many different players.

If TQ is not playing well, he shouldn't be on the floor. Read the game thread, everyone saw it. Everyone but the guy that makes the call.

No you dont
Because I'm objective and you're reactionary?

USCe hasn't lost a home game the entire season. I guess that's meaningless?

LSU had the opportunity to win this game and it sucks we didn't, but I guess OP "Hope Quarterman and Johnny won some money tonight" is more resonating for you.

Bunch of children up in here.

Okay who do you want instead, Gray?

I have a hard time believing Johnny just went completely brain dead and forgot to play Patterson like some of you may think. Maybe he's injured again? Pissed off CJJ? Idk. But Johnny is usually pretty good with subs and always puts in the players that give him the best chance to win down the stretch.

Yep.

We kept the game to 4-5 points for the majority of when we were down. You can't ask for much more in an away game against a quality opponent.

But when you aren't playing all that great, shooting terribly from the FT line, and make some dumb fouls...

You lose. We had every opportunity. And we didn't capitalize.

It's easy to blame JJ when watching Grey play wrecklessly for stretches, not get anything from TQ, and Patterson rides the pine for 90% of the game. BUT it's still on the players to make free throws and not make dumb fouls
